Marketing & Promotions
Marketing
The creation of marketing materials is one of the best ways to drive interest to your show, second only to doing good work. Posters, graphics, press blurbs, and releases should all provide an audience with an idea of what's in store when watching your show.
Digital Marketing
When submitting a show, a square 800px x 800px image for ticket links is required. For specialty shows, an image for Facebook events and the DCH slideshow is also required, size 1920px x 1080px. These images should be emailed to [email protected].
Creating a Poster
Printing Posters & Rack Cards
To print posters, we recommend Minuteman Press in Deep Ellum, but just about any print shop will do. Some online print shops will offer package deals for posters and rack cards.
Press Blurbs & Press Releases
Specialty shows and shows with multi-show runs should submit press blurbs and press releases to [email protected]. These will be used to spread the word about your upcoming show.

Printing Posters & Rack Cards
To print posters, we recommend Minuteman Press in Deep Ellum, but just about any print shop will do. Some online print shops will offer package deals for posters and rack cards.
- To display posters and rack cards at Dallas Comedy House, it must be for a current or upcoming show at DCH. You will need to give them to the intern working at the box office. Only one poster (11x17") and up to 100 rack cards of one show should be given to the DCH box office. Submitted posters and rack cards will not be returned, so make sure you are okay with parting with them! Any posters or rack cards placed at DCH without going through the box office will be removed. Note: Any profane language or images will not be displayed.
- While marketing your show within the walls of DCH is a great idea, it is helpful to spread the word elsewhere. Just be mindful when you are promoting externally; some places have promotional regulations.
