Classes & Auditions!Happy Week After DCF! We're still tidying up the training center from all the festivities so please excuse our mess while we get caught up on emails/cleaning/work this week. Here are the big updates for this week happening at the training center and theater.
NEXT ROUND OF CLASSES WILL BE POSTED BY END OF DAY TOMORROW I (Maggie) am working on creating registration links for the next round of classes. They should all be posted by end of day tomorrow! Be sure to register before next Wednesday to enjoy those early bird savings. EWING AUDITIONS ON SATURDAY, APRIL 1 No foolin': the next round of Ewing auditions are this Saturday, April 1 from 12:30-2:30 at the theater. We hold auditions for DCH Ewing teams every two months. In order to audition for a Ewing team, you must be currently enrolled in a minimum level 3 at the DCH Training Center. Please see below to download an audition form. You'll need to bring a completed form to the audition. The upcoming Ewing Teams (teams created from the auditions on June 4) will have the following schedule:
Please do not audition for a Ewing team if you can not fulfill the requirements. There are plenty of stage time opportunities, so only audition if you are prepared to take on the team responsibilities.

Festival Workshops & Tickets, Pipeline Submissions ALL POSTED TODAY!Today is a big day!
The 2017 Dallas Comedy Festival workshops were posted today at 10 am. As of 2:10 pm, four are sold-out, and the other five are at half-capacity. So, if you want to take a workshop, sign-up as soon as possible. There are so many great out-of-town instructors and topics! Learn more here. Speaking of things that sell-out: individual tickets for shows go on sale tonight at 11:59pm. That means you have until midnight to purchase a festival pass if you want priority seating and guaranteed seats at every festival show. Reminder: student and performer IDs are not valid during the festival as it is a separate event and not regular programming. Check out the shows and purchase tickets at midnight by clicking here. And that's not the only fun thing announced today! Pipeline submissions for the next Pipeline show (March 12) will be posted on the Dallas Comedy House Training Center Page tonight at 7. Plus, it's Wednesday - which means it's half off food and happy hour drink prices at the bar for all students and performers. WHAT A GREAT DAY! |
